Description:As a Patient Experience Specialist, you will be
responsible for ensuring that every patient interaction is
characterized by empathy, responsiveness, and a commitment to
delivering outstanding service. Your primary focus will be to
establish positive relationships with patients, addressing their
inquiries, concerns, and needs effectively, and leaving a lasting,
positive impression.Key Responsibilities:Patient Interaction:
Interact with patients through various communication channels,
including phone, email, and virtual, and provide them with a
friendly, empathetic, and professional experience.Scheduling and
Coordination: Manage patient appointments, coordinate scheduling,
and ensure seamless communication between patients and our
healthcare team.Complaint Resolution: Act as a point of contact for
patients with concerns or complaints, addressing their issues
promptly, and working to find satisfactory solutions.Educational
Support: Provide patients with information regarding their
equipment.Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient
records, including contact information and insurance
details.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all privacy and
healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA.Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to
guarantee a smooth patient journey.Requirements:Previous customer
service experience, particularly in durable medical equipment or
medical setting, is preferred.Strong interpersonal and
communication skills.Empathy and patience in dealing with patients
and their concerns.Ability to handle challenging situations with
professionalism and tact.Detail-oriented and organized,
problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of medical terminology, basic
understanding of healthcare processes and insurance is a
plus.Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM)
software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is
beneficial.Medical billing experience is a plus but not required.If
