Job Description:
A company is looking for a Primary Care Clinic Coding
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately code evaluation and management, surgery, emergency room,
observation, injections, and infusions
Resolve coding edits and denials while maintaining a master log of
accounts coded daily
Serve as a client liaison to address account inquiries and identify
trends for reporting
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of coding experience in relevant areas
Possession of at least one recognized coding certification (CPC,
COC, CIC, CCS, or CCS-P)
Understanding of healthcare billing practices and compliant claims
preparation
Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding
guidelines
