Job Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the daily support of production, test and
development databases. These activities include the periodic
oversight of the database and its metamorphosis. As applications
evolved over time, the database systems will require constant
management to proactively change internal configurations to assure
the lowest possible downtime.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Must have experience as a DBA for both mySQL and Oracle
General knowledge of automation scripting (perl, Unix Shells
scripts, DOS scripts, etc.)
Knowledge of ancillary Oracle tools such as Quest's TOAD,
Footlight, Confio Ignite, etc.
Thorough knowledge of Oracle RDBMS internals We are an equal
