We focus on providing tailored, unconflicted financial advice to clients navigating growth, liquidity events, or balance sheet optimization.About the RoleEPL Advisory is seeking a Managing Director to lead private debt capital raising efforts, with a strong focus on sourcing capital from family offices and private equity firms. This individual contributor role involves originating and executing bespoke private debt transactions, structuring creative financing solutions, and cultivating a robust network of sophisticated capital providers. The ideal candidate brings deep connectivity to the private capital markets and a strategic approach to middle-market debt advisory.TasksPrivate Debt Capital Raising

• Lead and execute private debt fundraising mandates for founder-led, family-owned, or sponsor-backed companies.
• Structure and arrange bespoke debt solutions, including unitranche, mezzanine, asset-backed, or structured credit financings.
• Match clients with appropriate lenders and credit investors, emphasizing non-bank capital sources such as family offices, private credit funds, and PE firms with credit arms.Market Coverage and Relationship Building
  • Maintain and grow a high-quality network of family offices, private equity sponsors, and private credit investors who are actively interested in lending or co-investing.
  • Stay abreast of market terms, capital availability, and investor appetite across sectors and structures.Client Advisory
    • Advise clients on capital structure strategies, optimal debt sizing, and market positioning.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to company founders and financial sponsors throughout the fundraising process.Business Development
      • Originate new mandates by leveraging personal network and supporting EPL's broader advisory relationships.
      • Represent EPL Advisory in the market to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients and capital partners.Transaction Execution
        • Lead full execution lifecycle: from mandate to term sheet negotiation to closing.
        • Coordinate internal resources and manage communications between clients, investors, and legal teams.Requirements
          • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
          • 10+ years of experience in debt capital markets, private credit, investment banking, or capital advisory.
          • Demonstrated track record of successfully raising private debt capital, particularly from non-traditional sources.
          • Deep relationships with family offices, private equity firms, and alternative credit providers.
          • Must hold active FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses (or be willing to obtain promptly upon hire).
          • Excellent communication, structuring, and negotiation skills.
