Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff, Advanced Manufacturing
Engineer to lead manufacturing automation and process improvement
initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Define, plan, and execute manufacturing automation and process
improvement for devices and accessories
Oversee acceptance testing and installation of automated equipment
at vendors and contract manufacturers
Coordinate project designs, schedules, costs, and manage changes to
ensure delivery requirements are met
Required Qualifications and Education
10+ years of experience in specifying, designing, and qualifying
automated manufacturing lines
3+ years of experience with manufacturing processes relevant to
electronics assembly and liquid filling
PMP certification preferred for project management skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical
preferred); advanced degree preferred
Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Lean Manufacturing,
and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
